All Bencer & Hazelnut products are handwashed prior to packaging so colours will not run, however with bold colours such as red & green, we encourage you to hand wash alone in cold water only first. Why? Sometimes products such as eco washes or bleaches in things like napisan or fabric softeners can affect stronger colours. By washing in water first it just simply takes away some of that risk.
